Golf enthusiast fulfills lifetime ambition in Twickenham charity event

Golf enthusiast Garth Harbison, bagged his first ever hole in one at a charity event that took place at Fulwell Golf Club, Twickenham.

The air traffic controller was playing in a charity game which was sponsored by Volkswagen Twickenham, when the 45-year old hit the perfect shot at the par three, ninth hole winning him the brand new car.

Mr. Harbison was invited to pick up his new Volkswagen Polo from the VW showroom which is located on South Road, Twickenham.

More than 100 golfers teed off for the charity event, which raised over £6000 for the Hampton’s Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and Kingston Hospital’s cardiac unit.
